Sunset Pool

Sunset Pool includes a heated outdoor pool with six, 25-meter lap lanes, 1 meter and 3-meter diving boards, two water slides, an indoor party room, reservable outdoor shade shelters, sandy beach play area, family locker rooms and the best view in Longmont! See below for the summer schedule and information about after-hours and shelter reservations and special programs.

Cash is not accepted before 8 am, Mon-Fri. Please use Recreation Passes or Credit Cards.

Age Policies

• Youth 5 & Under must have an adult (14yrs +) actively involved with them in the WATER.
• Youth 6-10 years, must have an adult (14yrs +) supervising them in the facility.
• Adult Swims are for patrons 18 years and older.

After Hours Private Rentals | Rentals are FULL for the Remainder of 2024 Season

2025 Summer Afterhour Rental Reservations begin mid-February.  Check website for exact date.

Full payment is due at time of reservation.

• Fees are based on the amount of people entering the facility, whether or not they swim. If more people attend than paid for, the additional rental amount will be charged, plus a penalty fee of $50/per hour.
• In order to maintain safe patron-to-lifeguard ratios, if more people arrive than originally planned for, all guests may not be allowed to swim.

2024 Fees – 2 Hour Rental Minimum

• $200/hour, up to 50 people
• $275/hour, 51-100 people
• $350/hour, 101+ people

Rental fee includes an additional 15 minutes for set-up and an additional 15 minutes for clean-up.

Cancellation Policy

• Up to 30 days before rental = $5 Cancellation Fee
• 15-29 days before rental = 50% refund
• 14 days or fewer before rental = no refund

Rentals can be rescheduled without additional fees, but options may be limited. If inclement weather is in the forecast, moving the rental to an indoor pool may be an option. Once a rental has begun, no refunds due to inclement weather.

Shelter Rentals during Open Swims | 2024 Reservations are OPEN

Shelter and tent rentals below require a 2-hour minimum rental. Rental fees are non-refundable. Additional guests will be charged group rate admittance fee, whether or not they swim.

Main Shelter – Outdoor

• Located closest to the shallow water play area near the golf course.
• Brown shelter with 4 rectangular picnic tables.
• Fee: $120 for 2 hours and up to 15 people.
• Group rate admission applies for additional guests and must be paid for before guest entry.

Party Room – Indoor

• Indoor room, cooled by a swamp cooler, surrounded by windows viewing the slides and diving boards.
• 2, 8’ rectangular tables and 4 round large and 3 round small tables with 35 chairs. Sink and counter space.
• Fee: $120 for 2 hours and up to 15 people.
• Group rate admission applies for additional guests and must be paid for before guest entry.

Slide Tent – Outdoor

• Located between the slides and sand area.
• Fee: $80 for 2 hours and up to 10 people.
• Group rate admission applies for additional guest and must be paid for before guest entry.

Grass Tent – Outdoor

• Located in the grass area across from the diving boards.
• Fee: $80 for 2 hours and up to 10 people.
• Group rate admission applies for additional guests and must be paid for before guest entry.

Blue Shade Tents – Outdoor

• Approximately 12 x 12 feet, on concrete, with 2 round picnic tables.
• Fee: $80 for 2 hours and up to 10 people.
• Group rate admission applies for additional guests and must be paid for before guest entry.

Groups Must Be Pre-Approved

All group requests must be pre-approved to ensure there will be enough staff to ensure safety. Groups that are not pre-approved may be turned away due to staffing limitations.

 

Email group requests to swim@longmontcolorado.gov with desired pool(s), dates, times, total number of people (swimming or not), organization name and address, and primary contact person name and phone number. Concessions Stand

Concession Stand will be open from 1pm-5pm, every day of the week! Additionally, drinking fountains are always available and bottled water can be purchased at the front desk. Food can also be brought into the pool, but please, no glass containers.

Middle School Night, Tuesdays, 7-9 pm, June 11 and 25, July 9 and 23, Aug 6

• For middle-schoolers and soon-to-be freshmen (11 – 14 yrs)
• $6 Longmont residents/$7.50 non-residents (recreation pass not accepted)
• Preregister online so you don’t have to wait in line. Everyone who is preregistered can enter the facility at 6:45pm and enter the water at 7 pm. Preregistration ends at 6pm on day of event. Daily drop-in payment is available at the window, and participants must show proof of age or current student ID.
• No refunds due to inclement weather.
