For New Commercial/Multifamily Construction

You may submit building permit applications the following way:

Download the New Commercial application, complete the application, and email your PDF applications to us at building.inspection@longmontcolorado.gov. If your files are too large to email, you may send them via a cloud storage service such as WeTransfer. Be sure to separate your PDF files by design discipline (architectural, structural, MEP, soils, comcheck, truss engineering, etc.).

Please review our New Commercial/Multifamily Construction Requirements prior to submitting your application(s). Incomplete submittals will not be accepted. A plan review fee is required with submittal.

For Commercial Remodel/Tenant Improvement Construction

You may submit building permit applications the following way:

Download the Commercial Remodel application with checklist, complete the application and checklist, and email your PDF applications to us at building.inspection@longmontcolorado.gov. Your application must be emailed as one complete construction set PDF file; all other supporting documents must be separated (asbestos report, COM checks, etc.). If your files are too large to email, you may send them via a cloud storage service such as WeTransfer.

Please review our Commercial Remodel/Tenant Improvement Checklist prior to submitting your permit application. This checklist is required at the time of permit submittal. Incomplete submittals will not be accepted. A plan review fee is required with submittal.
