The Longmont Landlord and Tenant Training Alliance is a collaborative program between the Longmont Police Department and Community and Neighborhood Resources. The Landlord and Tenant Training Alliance presents monthly programming on a wide variety of topics relevant to landlords and tenants.
Trainings include:
- Semi-annual legislative updates to keep landlords and tenants aware of changes that will impact them
- Presentations to help landlords develop their business skills
- Judicial views from the bench
- Information on tax structure, insurance, lease-writing, and pitfalls to avoid

- April 12 – Fair Housing
- May 10 – Boulder Program
- June 14 – Legislative Update
- July 12 – Leases: How to have an effective lease
- August 9 – Public Safety/ Crime Free
- September 13 – Backgrounds: What and how to use them
- October 11 – Party: Harvest of Peace
- November 8 – You are not your tenants' parent, friend, advisor, guru or spiritual guide
- December 13 – TBD
These trainings are free and open to all. They are held every second Wednesday of the month and may be held virtually or in-person. When in-person they are held at the Longmont Senior Center (910 Longs Peak Avenue) in rooms D and E from 6:30-8 pm.
